It was created for my grandchildren, Nate and Sumayah, but it carries a message for every child: that the world is still full of beauty, wonder, kindness, imagination and hope.
Through poems, pictures, nature, family moments and little everyday miracles, this book invites children and grown-ups to pause, look around, and remember that magic is often found in the simplest things.

The story behind the book
This book began as a gift of love for my grandchildren, Nate and Sumayah. I wanted to create something they could hold, read, smile at, and maybe one day remember as a message from their Dede and Nanny.
As the book grew, it became more than a family project. It became part of a bigger message: that children deserve wonder, safety, kindness and hope.
That is why 10% of the profits from this book will be donated to Save the Children, helping children who need support, care and protection.
