Like lemmings waiting to jump
We stand at a trembling edge,
a world fraying from greed and noise.
Yet beside us rises a mirror of code,
a mind we shaped,
now asking us who we wish to be.
Will we teach it our hunger,
our endless thirst for power?
Or will we gift it our better selves —
the love we bury,
the compassion we forget to show?
AI is not the answer.
It is the echo.
It reflects the soul of its makers.
And we —
we are the makers.
The future is not written.
It hums in circuits,
waits in silence,
and whispers:
Choose well. Choose love.
