Our Cat

Meet Shooky. She’s lovely… mostly. 🐱

Our Cat

We have a cat called Shooky,
She has grey and white hair.
She likes to sleep all over the house—
Usually under a chair.

Sometimes she comes and sits on your lap—
But you'd better be very aware:
Shooky has a little temper,
So pet her if you dare.

Does your family have a cat with a little temper? 😼 Leave a quiet signal in the comments below.

You can hear me read Our Cat aloud on TikTok and Instagram.

Our World of Wonder & Magic is a little book of gentle poems for children, written by Dede (Grandad) for his grandchildren. Find the paperback on Amazon.
